Aiguille du Chardonnet / North Spur / 1978

Bad weather saw most of the team head to the Calanque. The Phez and I stuck around. When the skies suddenly cleared we bolted from the apt for a quick run up the Petite Verte. We needed a plan - so by that evening, we were looking over at the north side of the chardonet from the Refuge Albert. Walked over in the dark and summited just after sunrise. We then descended the Forbes Arete thus getting two classic routes for the price of one.
