Launched the new mobile version of the site. It is fully integrated with the existing site and is driven for the most part by CSS media queries and some javascript math to decide which menu system to display. |

Finished a complete rebuild of the search capabilities of the site. Exact phrase searching is now available. Search results are now paginated as are all albums. Site is almost ready to go live. |

Two major fixes along with all the new work. Fixed aspect ratio for parallax images so they scale correctly for all browsers w/o media queries. Fixed mobile Fancybox issue where browser adr bar always shows. Now hidden automatically. No parallax scrolling on mobile, but 2 different home page images based on orientation. |

Start mobile version project. One style sheet is repsonsible for both versions of the site. That being said, there are 14 css files in the assets folder that drive the site: the galleries, slideshows, modals, mobile menu, forms, flickr like layouts etc. |

Added a switch statement to create custom page titles for all the content files. Then added a couple of functions to the header file to get the Album name from number value at the end of the gallery page URL. Should help SEO. Also added the year to the peaks page. |

Knowing that I still have quite a few images to re-scan, I needed a way to filter the request for a gallery album that is incomplete. The DB records have been around for awhile in the old website petercolephoto.com. But those images are too small for today's web. Thus there are DB records that don't have a related image. Using the built in PHP function file_exists, the gallery and search pages now hide the error messages while I catch up with yet to be done scans. It also allowed me to launch the final version of the site with all the available menu options. |

Made one basic change to the chronology page. If you view the default page you get all the trip descriptions. But, if you filter by category, that information is no longer displayed as it may not be relevant to your search(filter). |
