The very dry summer of 2020 revealed an alpine carpet of talus pretty much everywhere you looked. From the Highline Trail approach, the vision of endless talus made the choice between Arrowhead and Henderson a no-brainer. Returning to Arrowhead after 38 years was good, particularly since I had absolutely no images from the long ago climb on the South Face. Small but short storm built in as I closed in on the summit so the views were not all that good. Of course it cleared off nicely once I was back down in the meadows.
