A popular route and one that is quite impressive if you're there in the early morning hours. Was quite cold in the shadows on the final section of climbing along the North Ridge. Summit rocks can be downclimbed and the descent on the east side of the divide was soft as the heat of the day warmed the snowpack. Cold nights on either side of this climb put a half inch of ice on my water source.
